Miguel taps into his Mexican roots with a newly-released Spanish version of his hit single “Sky Walker.”

The black and Latino singer keeps some of the War & Leisure song’s signature phrases. “Quick to dead the bull like a matador” and “splish” remain, but he also inserts a splash of Spanish.

“Déjate llevar por la sensación,” he sings, which translates to “Let yourself be taken by the sensation.” Other lines include “Tengo was chicas que un video en un crucero.” Translation: “I have more girls than a video on a cruise ship.”

Miguel has been connecting with his Latino roots more and more. Last year, he traveled to Zamora, Michoacán in Mexico, where his father hails from, as part of Viceland’s “Earthworks.” He also contributed “Remember Me” to the Coco soundtrack and performed the Oscar-winning song at the Academy Awards.

Miguel previously dueted with Mariah Carey on a Spanglish version of 2013’s “#Beautiful.” And expect even more Spanish songs to come from Miguel, who will perform at Coachella next month.
