YG reps where he’s from in the dramatic video for his new single, “Suu Whoop.”

As one might imagine, the new clip features plenty of red, as the Compton MC raps about his Blood ties. Throughout the GoodBoyShady-directed clip, he’s surrounded by fluorescent red lights, Chuck Taylors, low riders, and homies who rep the set.

The grainy clip, which toggles between black and white and color, features several vignettes that amplify the song’s message. In between performance shots, there are dice games, a brutal fight, and G-Class ghost riding in the rain. It also features a dance party in the projects, where YG shows off his moves.

“Suu Whoop” is the lead single from YG’s upcoming third album, Stay Dangerous, the follow-up to 2016’s Still Brazy.
