Waka Flocka Flame has banished up-and-coming rapper Lil Xan from hip-hop following the 21-year-old’s comments about the late Tupac Shakur.
Xan recently gave ‘Pac a 2-out-of-10 rating on Revolt, complaining that the iconic rapper makes “boring music.” Flocka heard about this and went to town with criticism. “LiL Xan banned from hip hop,” he wrote. “GoD of Rap, Hip Hop, etc Tupac Shakur!!!”
Waka went on to add: “Pac help me get thru childhood!!! Shit hurt to see the youth disrespect man that paved the way for all of us literally… I hope nobody overlook me accomplishments when I leave. Respect is everything, never forget that.”
Lil Xan, who also gave Ludwig Van Beethoven a 9, Drake’s “God’s Plan” an 8, and Lil Peep an infinity rating, responded to the backlash with defiance. “Lil Xan’s not going anywhere,” he said in a video. “Sorry. You gotta look at this ugly face for a lot longer, guys.”

He also took to social media to make another announcement in light of the controversy. “No more interviews,” he wrote. “I love my fans to death but I can’t let these companies keep taking advantage of me and using me to further there shit, it’s fucked.”
The burgeoning rapper, who claims he wants to eventually change his stage name to his given name of Diego, is working on his debut studio album Total Xanarchy, which is slated to drop April 6 with contributions from Diplo, YG, 2 Chainz, Rae Sremmurd, Bobby Johnson, and Charli XCX.
