Following “44 More” and “Overnight,” Logic completes the hat trick with “Everyday,” a new collaboration with Marshmello.
Over electronic and hip-hop production from Marshmello and 6ix, the Maryland MC delivers kinetic rhyme flows while discussing the perils of fame. “Now they know my name wherever I go,” he sings. “Used to think that’s what I wanted, but now, just don’t know.”
Blending quick-paced raps with high-pitched singing, Bobby Tarantino reflects on hard work and relaxation. “I work hard every motherfuckin’ day,” he sings. “But today is my day / No matter what they say, it’s my day.”
Back in August of last year, Marshmello revealed that he was trying to collaborate with Logic. “Been waiting to get in the studio with @Logic301 for months now,” he tweeted. “He’s busy crushing the game.”
Late last month, the duo linked up and Logic says he is “really excited about this one.” Listen to the song above and catch a hilarious behind-the-scenes look at the recording process below.
