The beef between Ja Rule and 50 Cent continues to boil. On Valentine’s Day, the longtime rivals went at it again via Instagram.
First, the G-Unit mogul reportedly published a meme that showed “Power” character Ghost screaming. “Ja Rule’s kids asking him for the 100th time if they could watch ‘Power’,” read the text in the since-deleted post.
Rule responded by quoting complimentary words from 50’s estranged son Marquise Jackson. “Ja Rule was probably one of the first to [sing and rap] and I listen to a lot of Ja Rule because of that,” Marquise said in a 2017 interview with Rap-Up. “Glad I was able to inspire you and your dad,” Ja responded.

During the Q&A, Marquise was also asked what he would say to critics who saw that as a slight to his estranged father. “I just love music,” he said. “I’m not really a biased person. If you make good music, you make good music. Even if you made a song about me that I thought was fire, I’ll probably say, ‘Man, that joint was hard.'” You can’t deny it. It’s just facts.”
50 and Ja reignited their long-running feud in January, when 50’s Den of Thieves co-star O’Shea Jackson Jr. said he refused to be a fan of Rule after Fif came out. “I done put him to bed,” bragged the G-Unit boss. That interview resulted in a flurry of tweets from the Murder Inc. MC.
“Let’s be clear I mind my business,” he wrote. “but for some reason @50cent keeps my name in his mouth… I think he’d rather have my dick in his mouth lmao…I own your soul @50cent and EVERYONE sees it now… your my bitch!!!”
