Tyga gets romantic for Valentine’s Day in the video for “U Cry,” a sentimental track off his forthcoming album Kyoto.
The sleek clip takes place on a sunny day at a Los Angeles mansion, where T-Raww’s girl sheds a few tears. “When I cry, you cry, we cry together,” he sings in a nod to Ja Rule and Lil’ Mo’s “I Cry,” which originally sampled The O’Jays’ “Cry Together.”
Elsewhere in the dramatic video, T-Raww plays the piano and dons a red leather suit, while reflecting on his relationship. The rapper’s pet panther lies nearby, while the City of Angels skyline decorates the backdrop.
“It’s like June now,” he adds on the piano-laden cut. “But I love you like it’s February.” After walking around his lavish home, taking a shower, and looking at family pictures in frames, Bugatti Raww drives away from the fancy pad, fittingly behind the wheel of a Bugatti.
“U Cry” follows the visual for “Temperature” off King Gold Chains’ upcoming LP. Featuring Gucci Mane (“Sip a Lil”), Tory Lanez (“Faithful”), and 24hrs (“Holdin On”), Kyoto arrives Feb. 16 via Last Kings/Empire.
