After appearing in the seductive Fifty Shades trilogy, Rita Ora is taking on a different role. The singer-turned-actress has joined the cast of Detective Pikachu, a live-action Pokémon-inspired film due next year.

Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith are set to star in the Rob Letterman-directed movie, while Ora’s role is a mystery thus far. The songstress is part of a supporting cast that includes Ken Watanabe, Bill Nighy, and Suki Waterhouse, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Detective Pikachu is slated to arrive May 10, 2019.

Ora’s work on the big screen will continue to shine. Beyond Detective Pikachu, she will also appear in Wonderwell, a highly-anticipated indie film that stars the late Carrie Fisher.

Rita’s musical career isn’t stopping, either. She recently collaborated with Liam Payne on Fifty Shades Freed’s “For You” and she is currently working on a new album to follow last year’s “Your Song” single. Later this month, she will also perform at the Brit Awards on Feb. 21.
