Lil Wayne is dedicated. After teasing a remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “DNA.” from his upcoming Dedication 6 mixtape, Tunechi unleashes two remixes that are expected to appear on the project, as well as a new collaboration with Kodak Black.
The first of those revamps is “Blackin Out” featuring Euro, Weezy’s take on JAY-Z’s “The Story of O.J.” off 4:44. Over No I.D.’s drums and piano keys, Wayne rhymes about the former NFL running back, as well.
“O.J. with the brick, ni**a runnin’ through the white,” he raps. “O.J. on my wrist, ni**a, that’s Sunny Delight / Diamonds in my teeth sining like some pearly whites, ni**a / Straight from New Orleans like a plate of dirty rice.”
Up next, Weezy remixed 21 Savage’s “Bank Account” off Issa Album. Over Metro Boomin’s acoustic guitar strings, Wayne goes off about money and women. “I got me a naughtier bitch / She suck on this balls and the stick,” he raps. “I’m about to play golf with the bitch / I’m way out on Mars with the bitch / She fuckin’ with Martians and shit / You shoppin’ at Marshalls and shit.”
Elsewhere, Tunechi name-checks Nicki Minaj. “Your bitch getting trippy with me / Want a quickie with me / She said she wish that I had Nicki with me.”
Finally, Wayne links up with Kodak Black for “Codeine Dreamin,” a surprising collaboration following their feud. Project Baby and Tunechi bond over outer space on the track, making references to planets like Uranus and Venus, but they also share their love for lean. “I’m wet dreaming about Actavis,” raps Weezy. “Two new cups feel like new boobs.”
Dedication 6 is due Christmas Day.
