Cortez Kenny has arrived. After performing as part of Kobe Bryant’s jersey retirement celebration on Monday (Dec. 18), the rapper revealed his first collaboration with Nike.

Kung Fu Kenny’s new kicks are a red, black, and white take on the shoe titan’s classic Cortez sneakers, with “Don’t Trip” written across the front of the laces and Chinese letters sprawled across the side.

“DON’T TRIP. CORTEZ KENNY,” wrote Lamar in the first photo shared of the sneaker.

K-Dot previously had a Reebok deal, where he released his pair of Ventilator sneakers in an effort to unify the Bloods and Crips.

But he’s long had a love for Nike and, in particular, Cortez sneakers. In fact, he mentioned the kicks on his lauded verse from Big Sean’s “Control.” “I ain’t rockin’ no more designer shit,” he rapped. “White tees and Nike Cortez.”

A release date for Kendrick’s Cortez sneaker has yet to be announced.
