Some of hip-hop’s biggest names are mourning the tragic loss of Rick Ross’ longtime manager, Black Bo.
The Maybach Music Group boss confirmed Bo’s passing at MAXIM’s December Miami Issue Party, which took place during Art Basel on Friday (Dec. 8).
“This is an extremely sexy party,” Rozay said at the event. “I know my dog Black would’ve loved to be here. Come on, let me rap for my dog Black one time.” He then performed “Hustlin'” as a tribute to his former manager and friend, according to XXL.
Wale also shared his grief in a heartfelt Instagram caption. “As the tears begin to chase each other down my face,” he wrote. “I try to combat the sadness of this new reality with the indelible memories u gave us. It still doesn’t seem real.. it can’t be real! WHY is it real?
“Absolutely None of us have to try to think of the selflessness the genuine compassion and absolute loyalty for your friends you demonstrated daily,” he continued. “no sir, because those things are synonymous with your face. Those things are synonymous with your name. Those things… synonymous wit the very thought of you comrade. My heart hurts so much.”

French Montana also offered his condolences. “My prayers go out to my brother @richforever and the rest of the family 💔,” he wrote. “I know this one hurt 🙏🏼 I’m really hurt, shed a tear for u brother !We going miss you black.”
Black was mourned by other artists, as well, including Quise and Bruno Mali Kidd. It remains unclear how Black Bo died as no cause of death has been publicly revealed.
