2 Chainz is getting mad. The rapper posted a series of emojis to share his disappointment with Eminem’s Revival tracklisting, which doesn’t include their previously-teased collaboration.
“👀😡👊🏿,” he wrote.
While their track doesn’t appear on the standard tracklisting, there is speculation that it could end up as a bonus track on a deluxe edition.
Back in July, Hair Weave Killer went into great detail when talking about their work together. “He let me hear this song and it was funny,” he said. “I heard some things in there where his vernacular was 2 Chainz-y. It was crazy.”

According to him, the collaboration was impressive. “I gave him some of the ATL flavor,” he explained. “When it was over, Eminem came in and said, ‘How the hell you rhyme tabernacle with Adam’s apple?'”
At the time, he even said that Marshall Mathers revealed himself as a fan of his music. “Em was telling me he listens to Kendrick and he listens to me,” he said. “He was telling me a lot of my metaphors give him anxiety because he never knows what I’m gonna say…I’m like, ‘It’s really an honor with you saying this because we know where you are as far as the food chain.'”
But only days later, his tune changed completely. In fact, Chainz said he “doesn’t know anything” about a collaboration with Em.
One person who is happy with Eminem’s tracklisting is Ed Sheeran, who appears on “River.” “I’ve had to hold onto this secret for a long time, but since it’s just been announced I can now tell you all,” he wrote on Instagram. “I did a song with Eminem for his new album Revival, which is out on the 15th of December. He is one of the reasons I started writing songs, and was such a pleasure to work with him. The song is called ‘River,’ hope you like it.”
Revival is due Dec. 15 featuring Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Kehlani, Pink, and PHresher.
