Eminem might not be able to “Walk On Water,” but Slim Shady is still heading across the pond for the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards.
Hot off Em’s Beyoncé-assisted single, the MTV EMA confirmed a running rumor—Eminem will be performing at the show in London on Sunday (Nov. 12).
Marshall Mathers is scheduled to perform his new single “Walk On Water” for the first time ever, though it is unclear if Beyoncé will join him. Over the weekend, rumors surfaced that Em was rehearsing for the EMAs with frequent collaborator Skylar Grey, who co-produced “Walk On Water,” along with Rick Rubin.
This marks Em’s fourth time performing at the European awards show. In 2013, he performed “Berzerk” and “Rap God” and was honored with the Global Icon Award. This year, he is up for the Best Hip-Hop and Best Live awards.
“With 35 EMA nominations and 15 wins under his belt, Eminem is no stranger to the EMAs and we’re thrilled to announce his highly anticipated debut will take place at our biggest night in music,” said Bruce Gillmer, Head of Music and Music Talent, Global Entertainment Group, Viacom and executive producer of the 2017 MTV EMA.
Travis Scott, Camila Cabello, French Montana, Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato, Kesha, and Stormzy are also set to take the stage at the show, which will be hosted by Rita Ora.
Live from The SSE Arena, Wembley in London, the 2017 MTV EMA will air at 3 p.m. ET/ 12 p.m. PT on Sunday (Nov. 12).
