London On Da Track has more heat in store.
After revealing that he has “more ammo on the way” with Nicki Minaj, the super-producer opens up about potential new collaborations with Drake and 21 Savage. Speaking exclusively with Rap-Up, the beatmaker extraordinaire was asked about new material from Drizzy and the Saint Laurent Don, who he previously worked with on “Sneakin’.”
“Definitely, we got a lot of music in the works,” he said. “Me and Drake? Well, I’ve sent him a few things and hopefully he’ll be able to share those things to the world. I don’t want to spoil any surprises.”
While details remain under wraps, London explained how his working relationship with Drake has grown and what it’s like to collaborate with the 6 God.
“It’s immediate,” he says. “When Drake asks me, ‘Yo, London, I need that heat, though,’ I send him the pack. He just go in, send it back in a few days, and lets me know, ‘I just bodied that shit. I went in on that shit.’ But as far as music coming out with me and Drake, I don’t want to spoil surprises. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, you’ll see.”
As previously reported, London has also been in the studio with Nicki Minaj, who collaborated with him on “No Flag.” “Just know,” he said. “More ammo on the way…Yep, more heat though.”
Drake is currently working on his highly-anticipated new album. Back in August, he revealed that he was crafting the project in Toronto. Meanwhile, London is creating his debut album, Who Would’ve Known, which is set to feature some unexpected collaborations.
