What is Quavo cooking up with Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino, and Lil Yachty?
Between working on solo material, a joint project with Travis Scott, Culture II, and penning the script for a Migos movie, Quavo recently found time to collaborate with his famous friends.
Taking to Instagram, Q shared VHS-style in-studio clips of a recording session with Chance, Danny Glover, and Lil Boat. The trio was bobbing their heads to a beat, but the videos were released as silent snippets.
It’s unclear what they were working on, but there is plenty of speculation. Quavo could be crafting his solo debut or parts of Migos’ Culture II. It could also be a cut off Chano and Childish’s long-teased joint project, or a song off Yachty’s next effort.

The recording session could also be connected to Quality Control’s upcoming compilation, which is set to arrive next month. “All These Projects We Got Set Up… FANS GONNA THINK ITS XMAS,” tweeted Quavo.
Chance and Quavo have already had success. The duo topped the Hot 100 with Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne on DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One” earlier this year.
Gambino’s relationship with Migos is strong too. This year, he thanked the trio for “Bad and Boujee” at the Golden Globes shortly before the song topped the Hot 100. The group also appeared in an episode of Glover’s “Atlanta.”
Lil Boat and Migos are Quality Control labelmates, who previously collaborated on “Peek a Boo” and Steve Aoki’s “Night Call.” Quavo and Yachty have also joined forces on a slew of tracks, including “Minnesota,” “Homie Bitch,” and “Believe.”
