Are Drake and Trippie Red working on a collaboration?
Buzzing Ohio rapper-singer Trippie Redd, who’s behind songs like “Love Scars” and “Romeo and Juliet,” has been dropping hints about an upcoming collaboration with Drizzy on social media.
One of the biggest teases came from DJ Flipp, a Redd collaborator, who tweeted: “Just wait till y’all hear that Trippie Redd x Drake collab.. sheeesh…. I couldn’t believe it 🔥.”
Drizzy and Trippie have also been sharing their bond on Instagram. Last night, Trip posted a Story from Drake’s 31st “Re-Bar-Mitzvah” birthday party, where “Papi’s Pizzeria” boxes were handed out.
In a post, Trippie published a photo of Drake’s platinum plaque for Take Care with the fingers crossed emoji and the caption: “Larry Office.” Drizzy liked the pic and posted cash, money bag, and prayer hands emojis under it. Some believe Larry could be Apple Music executive Larry Jackson.
This wouldn’t be Redd’s first major collaboration. Trip has already collaborated with DRAM (“Ill Nana”) and XXXTentacion (“Fuck Love”).
Drake is currently working on his next album, the follow-up to Views and More Life.
