How do you follow up a No. 1 hit like “Bodak Yellow”? With a Beyoncé feature!
Rumor has it that Cardi B has enlisted Queen Bey for the highly-anticipated follow-up to her Hot 100 smash, which is reportedly titled “Wet.” Cardi’s engineer Ashby revealed the news by posting a series of Instagram Stories (via Hip Hop-N-More). One of them features vocals that are titled “Cardi B ft. Beyoncé Demo Wet.” Under the story, Ashby added: “Wow this feature is big.”
Cardi met up with Beyoncé and JAY-Z at the Made in America festival back in September, but has been guarded about their talks. “They just said hi,” she told “The Breakfast Club.” “No, they said a lot of other beautiful stuff. I don’t want to air stuff like that out, but I met her. I met Beyoncé, y’all! It was real. It wasn’t Photoshopped!”

During an interview with the Associated Press, Bardi added: “I’m surprised Beyoncé liked me. Ah! I met Beyoncé!”
Cardi also reflected on the “pressure” surrounding her debut album. “I’m a little nervous to put the project out but I think it’s gonna do pretty good,” she said. “It’s a lot of pressure on me. Everybody is waiting to see what I’m gonna have next and it’s like, I hope people love it. But I have confidence. I’m really good.”
The Beyoncé collaboration could end up on Cardi’s forthcoming debut album, which was initially set for release this month. It has since been pushed back.
