After bringing the “Silence,” Marshmello and Khalid get loud and bring light to the darkness in the video for their top 50 collaboration.

The clip features a fair share of despair. There are scenes of argumentative disputes, eviction letters, and confrontations with police, driving home some of the darker realities that are faced around the world.

But the visual also carries out some brighter moments of positivity. While Khalid and Marsh team up with a group of people, bike riders carry neon lights around the city, beautifying it all with vibrant energy.

“Silence” has peaked at No. 42 on the Hot 100 since its August release. Khalid also currently appears at No. 3 (Logic’s “1-800-273-8255” featuring Alessia Cara), No. 29 (“Young Dumb & Broke”), and No. 41 (“Location”).

The American Teen singer also graces the cover of Billboard’s 2018 Grammy Preview issue alongside SZA and Julia Michaels.
