Hot off the release of his “Dawsin’s Breek” video, Ty Dolla $ign taps Swae Lee and Future for “Don’t Judge Me,” the latest single off Beach House 3.
The Mike WiLL Made-It-produced track finds Dolla, Swae, and Hndrxx rap-singing about their personal drama and why they shouldn’t be judged. “I don’t want it if it ain’t a two-piece,” sings $ign. “Lately, I’ve been going through a lot of things.”
Pluto lands on the track for a verse about his own bedroom wishes. “Let me have a threesome, if you love me,” he sings. “Don’t you look at me like you can’t trust me / Lately, I’ve been going through some things.”
Finally, one half of Rae Sremmurd arrives for a verse about his Ferrari, hard work paying off, and “getting lucky” every day. “I might put it on her in a hurry,” he sings. “Paid in full, so I’m not guilty.”
The song ends with a breakdown, where Future sings with a raspy voice, before rhyming about the underworld. “I tried to get over in my afterlife,” he raps. “This life here ain’t alright / I don’t even know how I fell for your type.”
Beach House 3, the third installment in Ty’s Beach House series, is set to drop Oct. 27 featuring additional appearances from Gucci Mane and Quavo (“Pineapple”), YG (“Ex”), A$AP Rocky (“Dawsin’s Breek (Remix)”), and Ty’s dream collaborator, John Mayer.
“When they ask me who’s my favorite artist, I always talked about John Mayer,” Ty told 106 KMEL’s Shay Diddy. “I think he’s the best guitar player as far as artists go.”
