Young Thug is in trouble with the law once again.

The rapper, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested in Brookhaven, Georgia on Saturday (Sept. 23), after law enforcement officials found him in possession of 2.5 oz of marijuana during a routine traffic stop over tinted windows, according to TMZ.

He has remained in Brookhaven Police Department custody for four days and has now been charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and with having over-tinted windows, according to jail records.

The District Attorney has yet to review the case. Thus far, no bail has been set.

This is not the first time that Thug has been hit with similar charges. In 2015, he was charged with felony cocaine possession, felony marijuana possession, and gun possession, after cops raided his home. Drug charges were later dropped.

But Thug has had a long string of run-ins with police. In 2015, he was also arrested for allegedly making terroristic threats. Then, in December, he was apprehended once again for having excessively tinted windows.

Just one week ago, Thug dropped Young Martha, a collaborative EP with Carnage.
