Details continues to emerge in the Hollywood shooting of Young Dolph.
Despite initial reports, Yo Gotti is not considered a person of interest in the case, according to the Los Angeles Times.
A 43-year-old Memphis man named Corey McClendon was, however, arrested in connection with the shooting. He was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, according to LAPD spokesperson Det. Megan Aguilar. He is being held on $1 million bail.
Dolph was shot multiple times after getting into an argument with three men outside of the Loews Hollywood Hotel on Tuesday (Sept. 26), according to police. After getting shot, Dolph reportedly managed to run into a Shoe Palace store at the Hollywood & Highland shopping center, which is near the hotel.
Two of the three men that Dolph was arguing with reportedly fled the scene on foot, while another drove a gold Cadillac Escalade to a nearby gas station, where he left the vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Aguilar said that while Gottiās entourage was reportedly staying at the Loews Hollywood Hotel, it was unclear whether they were involved in the altercation or shooting.
As previously reported, Dolph and Gotti have been engulfed in an ongoing rap feud, that has resulted in a series of diss tracks. Earlier this year, Dolph also revealed that his SUV was shot approximately 100 times in Charlotte.
Dolph is reportedly in critical but stable condition with non-life threatening injuries. According to TMZ, he was shot in multiple areas, including his arm and butt.
