Hot off her “What Lovers Do” collaboration with Maroon 5, SZA reveals that she has a deluxe version of her debut album on the way.
Shortly after a fan tweeted a video of SZA performing choreography to an unreleased song, the Top Dawg Entertainment songstress implied that it might appear on a repackaged version of Ctrl.
“Man this video is literally shot n edited,” she tweeted. “regret not putting it on the album . Das wat da delux is foe.”
She should have a lot of material to choose from for the deluxe edition. The R&B singer, who is currently on her “Ctrl Tour,” told The Guardian how the album was finalized. “They cut me off,” she said. “They just took my hard drive from me. That was all. I just kept fucking everything up. I just kept moving shit around. I was choosing from 150, 200 songs, so I’m just like, who knows what’s good any more?”
Upon its release in June, Ctrl debuted at No. 3 and is currently No. 11 on the Billboard 200. So far, SZA has released three videos from the project, including “Supermodel,”“Love Galore,” and “Drew Barrymore,” which features a cameo from Drew Barrymore.
