Four years after dropping his debut mixtape Project Baby, Kodak Black delivers its long-awaited sequel, Project Baby 2.

Released today (Aug. 18) through Atlantic, the 19-track mixtape features Migos’ Offset, XXXTentacion, John Wicks, and JackBoy. It also includes some heartfelt lyrics from the Pompano Beach rapper.

“It seems like I lost more than I ever gained,” he raps on the opener “Versatile.” “Ain’t get nothing out these streets but pain / Ain’t get nothing out these streets but hard times / ‘Cause in these streets, it ain’t nothing but hard times.”

The effort also allows Lil Kodak to reflect on his journey from poverty. “Now, I got more problems than I ever did,” he says on the closer “Me for Me.” “I’m getting so much money these days, it’s hard to figure out who love me for me.”

Project Baby 2 follows Kodak’s March debut Painting Pictures, which opened at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
