Macklemore is riding through the town in the Lil Yachty-assisted video for “Marmalade,” which gets a youthful treatment.
Co-directed by Jason Koenig and Macklemore himself, the visual takes place inside of a dream where the rapper’s imaginary son takes his car out for a joyride with a mini Lil Boat.
After paying a visit to famed jeweler “TV” Johnny Dang, the guys steal Tom Brady’s Super Bowl jersey in order to have access to NFL legend Marshawn Lynch’s pool. The young Mack and Yachty invite some friends over and a fun bash ensues.
The fun-filled clip — which stars Mitchell Savitsky and Dre’moni Watts — ends when Macklemore realizes that it was all a dream.
The Maybach that is used in the video appears to be the same one that was involved in the head-on car collision last week. Macklemore and his two passengers came out of the accident safe, while the alleged drunk driver that hit them was charged with driving under the influence.
“Marmalade” is the second video from Macklemore’s forthcoming sophomore solo album. The first was for the Skylar Grey-assisted “Glorious,” which featured Macklemore’s 100-year-old grandmother.
