Lil Wayne approves of Drake’s new ink.
Over the weekend, the 6 God was spotted with a portrait of Lil Wayne tattooed on his left tricep. But apparently, Drizzy has had the tat for five months and it’s Tunechi approved.
TMZ reports that Wayne was “beyond floored and honored” when he received a photo of the portrait shortly after it was completed. Weezy was touched by the gesture because “loyalty’s a big deal” with him.
Four months ago, Drake also received a couple of other tattoos, including a Drakkar Noir bottle, commemorating his old Twitter handle, and a More Life-inspired flower tat.
As reported, Champagne also has tattooed portraits of his parents, Aaliyah, and Sade on his body. In May, Drizzy told Celine Dion that he may get her portrait inked permanently on his body at some point.
Since signing Drake to Young Money, Drizzy and Tunechi have collaborated on a series of hits, including “The Motto,” “She Will,” “I Do It,” “I’m On One,” “No New Friends,” and “Forever.” In 2014, the duo also co-headlined the “Drake Vs. Lil Wayne Tour.” This year, they’ve already teamed up on Gucci Mane’s “Both (Remix)” and Nicki Minaj’s “No Frauds.”
