Tyga shows love to his girl, his city, and Bad Boy in the nostalgic video for his Ty Dolla $ign-assisted single “Move to L.A.”
The visual starts off with T-Raww asking his lady friend to fly out to a fashion show that he’s hosting in Los Angeles. She takes his private jet and meets up with him for a sunny day in the City of Angels.
From there, the clip takes on a Bad Boy aesthetic, designed to look like a Hype Williams video for Puff Daddy and the Family in the ’90s. This matches the song, since it’s directly inspired by Ma$e’s Total-aided “What You Want” single from 1997’s Harlem World.
Sporting matching yellow jogging suits, Ty Dolla $ign and King Gold Chains defy gravity in the video. They fly around, show off their watches, and rock goggles, before heading out to the fashion show, where T-Raww performs amid flashing cameras.
“Move to L.A.” is a single off Tyga’s forthcoming Bitch I’m the Shit 2. Featuring Kanye West, Quavo, Vince Staples, Pusha T, and Young Thug, BITS2 is due Friday (July 21).
