Do Bryson Tiller and Drake have unreleased collaborations in the can?
On Friday (July 7), Pen Griffey spoke with Capital Xtra about why their previously-teased collaborations haven’t been unleashed. “Yeah,” he said. “I sent him a few songs and he sent me a few songs. We just gotta see what happens.”
In December, Tiller tweeted about a potential collab with the OVO boss. “started some vibes with Drake today,” he wrote. “more life.” However, both Drizzy and Griffey projects arrived without their collaborations.
When told that it will happen “when it’s right,” Pen Affleck agreed. “Exactly,” he said. “I don’t ever want to rush a song with nobody. I just want to put out the right song or the right project…Whatever it may be, I don’t want to rush it.”
Fans may also get to hear Young Tiller on a track with Travis Scott. The Louisville Slugger told Tim Westwood why he wants to lock in some studio time with La Flame.
“We definitely gotta get in the studio,” he said. “We’ve been talking about it for a while and talking about going on tour together…We did a few shows together, and he’s one of the first artists who showed me love. He let me open up for him.”
Bryson Tiller’s sophomore album, True to Self, is currently No. 26 on the Billboard 200.
