DeJ Loaf has “No Fear” in the video for the first single from her upcoming debut album Liberated.

Directed by rubberband, the video opens up with Lil Loaf daydreaming in her bedroom while listening to her breakout hit “Try Me.” From there, DeJ breaks free, her bed somehow rolling away from her room and onto a desert highway.

While gliding on the road, the camera pans into Lil Loaf’s ear, disappearing into a dream “Yellow World” filled with butterflies. When the Detroit rapper reemerges, she does so with three friends on her bed.

Once DeJ gets up and walks away, she relies solely on herself. With white-clad DeJ clones around her, Loaf dances confidently towards the finale.

The video is meant to mirror scenes from DeJ’s childhood. “Growing up, I used to daydream in my bedroom about everything from love to my career to traveling the world,” she explains. “The video sort of reflects that joyful feeling of going from daydreaming to realizing my dreams. My new album is a personal journey and I hope my fans enjoying riding along with me.”

Executive produced by Ricky Reed, Liberated is due this year.
