Three months after debuting his Birds in the Trap short film on Apple Music, Travis Scott has debuted the 14-minute clip in wide release on Vevo.

Directed by Fleur Fortune, the Detroit-shot movie stars La Flame as himself. It also features Christiane Staten as Scott’s girlfriend and Daniel Burke as Young Travis.

As those who watched the Apple Music version know, Birds explores the idea of mortality in a post-apocalyptic future where robots and beautiful women roam through abandoned buildings.

The cinematic piece features a deadly car accident that sends Scott to the hospital. When he wakes up, the Houston MC finds out that the other driver died in the collision, a harsh reality that sparks a surreal and somber nightmare setting filled with symbolic imagery.

Scott is currently on his “Birds Eye View Tour,” but is set to embark on Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN. Tour” in July.
