Already a superstar overseas and after topping the charts in the U.S. with Drake’s “One Dance,” WizKid continues his global takeover. The AfroBeat hitmaker enlists Chris Brown for his last international smash “African Bad Gyal.”
The feel-good and dance floor-ready track — perfect for wining all summer — starts with the Starboy’s compliments to his girl. “African bad gyal,” he sings. “Baby don’t change your style / I love you the way you are.”
But the “One Dance” crooner doesn’t come alone, as Breezy joins in for the second verse, singing about his love for African bad gyals too. “Baby girl, you’re from Angola,” he sings. “Sister from South Africa / Pretty girl, I want to hold ya / Tell that to my ladies out in Nigeria.”
“African Bad Gyal” follows WizKid’s Drake-assisted “Come Closer” and is the latest single off his forthcoming RCA project, Sounds From the Other Side, which is due July 14.
