The clock is ticking. As SZA prepares for her debut Ctrl next week, the Top Dawg Entertainment songstress unleashes the album’s third drop, “Broken Clocks.”

Over atmospheric sounds, TDE’s First Lady breaks down her schedule with symbolism. “I just take it day by day,” she sings. “Never hearing what they say / I just do it my way / All I got is these broken clocks / I ain’t got no time.”

“Broken Clocks” is the latest release from Ctrl, which has already spawned the Drew Barrymore-approved “Drew Barrymore” and the Travis Scott-assisted “Love Galore.”

Late last month, the newly-signed RCA star announced Ctrl’s release date with a little help from RZA, who gave his blessing.

“I’m zoning in with my homegirl SZA,” said the Wu-Tang Clan legend. “Self-savior, Zig-Zag-Zig Allah. Yeah, I think you could take that far, mama. Cut loose the drama. No melodrama. Rise to the top. Claim your karma. It’s my honor to drop this lesson. It’s my honor to give this blessing.”

Ctrl is due June 9.
