Royalty turns three.
In honor of her birthday, Chris Brown posted a heartwarming message to his daughter on Instagram on Saturday (May 27). “MY BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL IS OFFICIALLY 3 YEAR OLD,” wrote Brown. “HBD RO RO! I LOVE YOU.”
Brown’s caption, which featured several red heart emojis, accompanied an adorable photo of Royalty with a little doll next to a “Kids Only” sign.

In March of 2015, Brown was revealed to be Royalty’s father. Her mother is former model Nia Guzman and the two reportedly started out on good terms. They even agreed to co-parent their baby.
That year, Brown named his seventh album after his first and only daughter, who also appeared on the cover art. He dedicated “Little More (Royalty)” to his young one and she even co-starred in the song’s video.
Brown reflected on parenthood’s surprises at the time. “It’s actually great, it’s very humbling, and it’s very calming,” he said. “Being able to be a father and seeing my daughter from those gradual stages — from crawling, to walking, to saying words, to learning different things every day — is kind of teaching me patience and it’s been great.”
More recently, Brown and Guzman have reportedly been at odds due to a contentious custody battle and a child protective services investigation.
Despite their parental quarrels, Brown and Guzman have tried to put Royalty first. Last year, Chris reportedly spent $30,000 on a Frozen birthday party for his little one. Although he couldn’t attend due to his touring schedule, Guzman hosted the bash, which apparently included a $10,000 three-tier cake.
Brown recently wrapped his “Party Tour” and is prepping the release of his upcoming double album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon.
