KYLE and Lil Yachty turn the beach into a playground for a game of “iSpy” in the summery video for their buzzworthy collaboration.

Directed by Colin Tilley, “iSpy” features SuperDuperKyle and Lil Boat with oversized heads in a sandbox, talking about bullies. “Fuck those kids, bro,” says Yachty. “Look around, bro. Look at life. You see these fine bitches over here? You see these trees? You see this water? Come on, man. You’ve got so much to appreciate.”

KYLE and Boat decide to do just that and enjoy the sandbox. Then, they play a toy piano in front of a mermaid and dance to their catchy ditty. “I spy with my little eye,” sings KYLE. “A girlie I can get ’cause she don’t get too many likes / A girlie, yeah, a cutie I can turn into my wife.”

From there, KYLE and Yachty have more fun in the sun, getting buried in the sand, playing on a seesaw, and watching oiled up models jog around the beach in slow motion. As if all of that wasn’t enough, they even get to hang out on a pirate ship.

According to KYLE, the video treatment came from Tilley, who brought his vision to life. “It was his concept. I just agreed on it,” KYLE told The FADER. “I told him, ‘This song is fun. The video needs to be twice as fun. Let’s come up with the scenario that is feel good.’ It doesn’t get more feel good than being a baby surrounded by incredible looking women at the beach with no cares in the world.”

While Tiley came up with the concept, KYLE made sure one of his demands was met. “I was very adamant about [having] a mermaid shorty,” he said. “When I was a little kid at the beach, I was like, ‘This is lit but if I had a mermaid babe with me, life would be ten time as good.'” Mission accomplished.

“iSpy” is currently the No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart and No. 5 on the Hot 100 with more than 200 million streams.
