Mike WiLL Made-It and Big Sean light up the streets of Los Angeles in the video for their Ransom 2 collaboration, “On the Come Up.”
The fiery clip is filled with symbolism from the start, as a young boy drums on a bucket for Sean. From there, that young man ends up in Mike WiLL’s place, seated right between two bikini-clad models in the back of a car. In between, there are scenes of Sean and a group of friends, including Rae Sremmurd, riding around L.A. on the hood of a car.
As flames surrounds Sean and Mike, the clip tells the story of a Hispanic man with his hands behind his head while two officers point guns at him. Things then take a deadly turn as shots are fired before a large group of men chase a police officer through a tunnel and into the Los Angeles River.
“On the Come Up” is a single off Mike WiLL’s star-studded Ransom 2 album, which also features appearances by Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, and Pharrell.
