“Mo Bounce” in the house.
After teasing it for the past week, Iggy Azalea is back with “Mo Bounce,” the new single off her upcoming sophomore album Digital Distortion.
Produced by The Stereotypes and Far East Movement, the banger features a hypnotic bounce, while the Australian rapper spits about her lifestyle.
“Little bit of ratchet, little boujee, you should all know,” she rhymes. “Everybody got opinions, yeah, like assholes / You ain’t gotta worry ’bout those / ‘Cause they assholes / We just came to party.”
I-G-G-Y spoke about the track during an interview with Beats 1. “This is my intentional single,” she said. “I wanted to put out the Uzi record, where I feel like it’s maybe more hip-hop, more about rapping verses. To me, this is about the whole sound, as an entirety.”
“Mo Bounce” is a single off Digital Distortion, the follow-up to 2014’s The New Classic. The album is said to feature collaborations with YG, Jeremih, and Lil Uzi Vert. A video for the single, shot in Hong Kong and directed by Lil Internet, drops Friday.
