Drizzy and Yeezy connect.

Although Drake and Kanye West’s joint project is still up in the air, the superstar duo shines on with “Glow” off the just-released More Life playlist.

Unleashed on Saturday (March 18), “Glow” finds the 6 God and Mr. West trading verses about their potential dominance over a soulful beat and a sample of Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Devotion.”

“Watch out for me,” they sing and rap together. “We about to get the whole nine / The whole nine / We just landed on a gold mine / We the new Abu Dhabi / This is our town / Watch out for me, I’m about to glow.”

Kanyeezy uses the track to reflect on his future and his son Saint. “Hope I deal with karma ‘fore my son do,” he raps. “‘Cause I be drivin’ round this bih with no sunroof / Man the glow got me feelin’ like I’m gunproof.”

Meanwhile, Drake claims he’s trying to move past his bitterness. “I still have my guard up,” he raps. “Blame this thing I’m part of / Trying to avoid more confrontation / I just gotta try harder / Taking the time to clear my mind ’cause / Soon as I’m able to let that go…Watch out for me, I’m about to glow.”

Drake and Kanye were set to release a joint project. They even teased it several times, including once in November of 2016. However, the following month, Yeezy accused Drizzy of somehow setting up the radio success of his DJ Khaled collaboration “For Free.”

Last month, Drake acknowledged that the comment stalled their collaborative work. “I’m not really sure what he’s referring to half the time,” said the 6 God. “I went from working on a project with him to him sort of publicly shitting on me and Khaled for being on the radio too much.”

While the status of their friendship remains uncertain, hear them come together on “Glow” below.
