From New York and the Bay to Los Angeles, Raekwon teams up with G-Eazy in the video for their new collaboration “Purple Brick Road.”
Directed by G. Visuals, the clip opens with aerial shots exploring the City of Angels, including the Hollywood sign, Griffith Observatory, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
At nightfall, The Chef and Young Gerald have a meeting, where they stand beside one another and toast to a new bond. In between, Rae hangs in a mansion, overlooking the L.A. skyline, with a bikini-clad lady and plenty of alcohol nearby.
“As we journey down ‘Purple Brick Road,’ G and I collide signature styles that represents glory at the highest levels on the road to success,” Rae told Complex. “Come walk with me.”
Produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, “Purple Brick Road” is a single off Rae’s forthcoming album The Wild, which is set to feature Lil Wayne, CeeLo Green, and Andra Day, and is due March 25.
