Stop! Drop! The Ruff Ryders are about to shut ’em down and open up shop with a special reunion concert and a possible subsequent tour.
DMX, Swizz Beatz, Eve, The LOX, and Drag-On have signed on for the official Double R reunion show, set for April 21 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, celebrating the imprint’s 20th anniversary.
“April 21st will be a night to remember,” DMX wrote on Instagram. “#letsgetiton.”

According to The FADER, “a full-blown reunion tour may not be far behind.” If that’s the case, it would be similar to what Diddy pulled off with last year’s “Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour,” which started as a one-night-only celebration for Notorious B.I.G. and continued as a tour with The LOX, Ma$e, Faith Evans, and Lil’ Kim.
DMX was also part of the Bad Boy trek, joining the tour in September of 2016 after making a cameo on opening night. The run eventually led to X’s latest comeback track, “Bane Is Back,” which dropped in January with a little help from Swizz Beatz. Over the weekend, Swizzy also premiered a collaboration with X, Jay Z, Jadakiss, and Nas.
Tickets for the Ruff Ryders reunion show go on sale March 3.
