The Weeknd celebrates his 27th birthday with a “Reminder” of his superstar status in the explosive video for his latest Starboy single.
Much like his early b-day celebration, “Reminder’s” visual is a star-studded affair, with cameos from Drake, YG, A$AP Rocky, Bryson Tiller, Belly, French Montana, Travis Scott, and NAV, among others.
Opening with aerial shots of the Hollywood sign and Los Angeles highways, The Weeknd walks out of a chopper and into a mansion, where women “go low, mane.”
Party scenes flash while Rocky and Abel drive through Los Angeles in a drop top. The XO boss parties on a rooftop with Drizzy and YG before flying back and forth from Toronto to L.A. on a private jet, meeting up with other famous friends in between.
The Glenn Michael-directed clip ends with Abel dancing in his crib while the city burns around him.
The video arrives as The Weeknd prepares to embark on his “Starboy: Legend of the Fall” tour tomorrow in Stockholm. The global trek will travel across Europe and South America before arriving in North America on April 25.
