Drake played the President of the United States in his “Energy” video, but it seems he’s got no love for the current POTUS, Donald Trump.
On Sunday (Feb. 5), Drizzy appeared to speak out against the Commander-in-Chief during a “Boy Meets World Tour” stop in London.
“Every day I wake up, I see all this bullshit going on in the world, people trying to tear us apart, people trying to make us turn against each other,” he told a roaring crowd. “So tonight, my proudest moment isn’t selling tickets or having people sing my songs. My proudest moment: If you take a look around in this room, you’ll see people from all races and all places and all we did tonight was come inside this building, show love, celebrate life, more life, and more music.”
Without mentioning Trump by name, he continued: “I want you to understand, if you ever thought for a second that any one man is gonna tear this world apart, you’re out of your motherfucking mind. It’s on us to keep this shit together. Fuck that man.”

If these comments were indeed about Trump, it would be a 180 from his views on the previous President, Barack Obama. In January, as Obama stepped away from the commander-in-chief seat, Drake wished him well.
“As a Canadian that calls America home for part of the year I will always carry your words and the memory of your time in office with me as inspiration,” he wrote on Instagram. “Big up yaself O.”
Drizzy wouldn’t be the only rapper speaking out against Trump. Recently, Eminem, Big Sean, Jaden Smith, Joey Bada$$, and YG have bashed the POTUS. Kanye West, who previously endorsed Trump, has also reportedly turned anti-Trump after seeing his first weeks in office.
Drake, who also recently announced a possible Young Money reunion show, is prepping the release of his next project, More Life, due this year.
