In October, Calvin Valentine dropped Eugene, a 10-track ode to his hometown in Oregon. Now, the rising star debuts Making of Eugene, a mini documentary to go with the newly-released vinyl version of the project.

Directed by Tim Slew of Soundlapse, Making takes fans behind the scenes, offering a glimpse into the challenges Calvin faced while making his latest effort in his new home in Los Angeles.

“I got caught up in my own mind,” he says at one point. “I started thinking too heavily about the songs, nitpicking them, hating them, and loving them. I was going back and forth too much.”
