Fabolous and Jadakiss have transformed into Freddy vs. Jason.

On Friday the 13th, the frightening duo dropped “Rapture,” the Tory Lanez-assisted single off their long-awaited joint EP, set to arrive this year.

With Tory on the hook, Fab kicks things off over Vinylz and Cam Obi’s hard-hitting production, which samples Anita Baker’s 1986 classic “Caught Up in the Rapture.” “Caught up in the rapture of love,” he raps. “Rock the 7s in Toronto, show the Raptors some love / Take a picture with my ni**as, try to capture the love / We from the bottom, but we trying to adapt to above.”

After his trademark laugh, J to the Muah carries this theme over. “Caught up in the rapture of love,” he rhymes. “From where they shoot it out, slap box, and scrap with the thugs / Went through all different cities on the map with the drugs / Instead of re-ing up, we just came back with the plugs.”

Along with the new track, Freddy and Jason also dropped a fear-inducing trailer for their joint project. It’s a blend of Blair Witch Project, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th. Viewers see a young woman running for her life, only to be disappointed, in tears, and haunted by a familiar yet frightening tune.

After teaming up several times throughout the years, Fab and ‘Kiss have joined forces as Freddy vs. Jason. In October, Lenny “Kodak Lens” Santiago, Senior Vice President of Roc Nation, told fans to prepare for the joint project. “Be excited about Fabolous and Jadakiss and what they’ve been talking about for months,” he told Rap-Up.
