Lil Uzi Vert Is Not Signed to Taylor Gang, According to DJ Drama & Don Cannon

There seems to be some confusion over who Lil Uzi Vert is currently signed to.

Although Wiz Khalifa recently announced him as a new member of Taylor Gang, DJ Drama and Don Cannon claim the young Philly rapper is actually only “signed” to their Generation Now imprint.

“Due to any confusion or contrary belief, Lil Uzi Vert is only ‘Signed’ to Generation Now, LLC,” tweeted Drama.

“Respectfully, we have alotta of love for Taylor Gang and Wiz,” added Cannon. “but Lil Uzi Vert is signed to Generation Now. Here is your answer.”

Last week, Khalifa announced that Uzi signed with his imprint during a concert in Philadelphia. “Taylor Gang, we’ve got Lil Uzi Vert now,” said Khalifa. “Welcome to the motherfu*kin’ Gang, ni**a.”

He would later confirm the signing on social media.

Whoever Vert is signed to, the rapper is now prepping the release of his forthcoming Luv Is Rage 2 LP, which is due at the top of the new year.
