Headbangers rejoice. A$AP Ferg, Lil Uzi Vert, and Marty Baller deliver a punk rock-inspired music video for “Uzi Gang.”
Shot in black and white, the Adam Degross-directed visual finds the trio of rappers surrounded by punk rockers enthralled in the slam dancing fury of mosh pits.
“I wanted to shoot a visual that would capture the feeling of the song,” Ferg told Noisey. “So I linked with photographer and good friend of mine Adam Degross to help me bring this picture perfect visual alive!”
Degross is a photographer who specializes in live concert portraits. Although many of his subjects are in the punk rock realm, Degross also shoots rappers like ScHoolboy Q, 21 Savage, Young Thug, and more.
“I put my everything into this, and I tried to make something very unique,” said Degross. “This is my first music video, I went into this not knowing where I’d end up, but I think we made something special. Don’t let anyone say you can’t do something, I’m living proof.”
“Uzi Gang” is a single off the Trap Lord’s sophomore album Always Strive and Prosper. Uzi also joined Ferg on “Runner” off A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 1.
