Lloyd Banks rolls on with his Blue Friday series thanks to the release of “Change Lanes.”
Featuring Curren$y and Big K.R.I.T., the driving anthem allows the G-Unit rapper to brag about being heartless, but fashion forward, while he changes lanes.
“I got these drugs in my stream,” he raps. “Skipped the chance to get clean / My heart as cold as the slammer in Alexander McQueen.”
Spitta Andretti rides in with bars about his favorite things: cars and smoke. “Pay it cash ‘fore I drive like I stole it,” he raps. “I ain’t passing it, I’m not a social smoker.”
Then, Young Krizzle delivers rhymes about his candy-coated whip. “Old school skyscraper tall, you need a parachute just to climb up out it,” he brags. “I bungee jump on these hoes.”
“Change Lanes” follows the release of three recent Blue Friday drops: “Major League,” “Last of a Dope Era Dying,” and “Misunderstood.” In October, Banks dropped his most recent mixtape, Halloween Havoc 3.
