Shia LaBeouf is back with more bars. After dissing Lil Yachty and Drake on “Sway in the Morning,” the Emmy-winning actor returns with more lines for Drizzy and Lil Boat in a freestyle for “The Breakfast Club.”
Starting off the rhyme with disses aimed at Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg, he takes another shot at the 6 God. “You’re a waste, man,” he raps. “Faker than Drake’s Jamaican accent / Old as fuck, dog, you’re past tense / The show don’t miss you when you’re absent / You’re lackin’ / To Sway and Charlamagne, you’re a fraction.”
After this, his aim is squarely at Lil Yachty. “This whole thing’s a bit absurd,” raps Shia. “But on my word, this Boat about to get this work / You spit that dirt I’m Kurt Cobain, squirt / Extra extrovert / You better protect your shirt, you bird.”
Later, he calls Yachty out by name, saying he’s “heard enough of Miles Park McCollum.”
“This a murder, this is tragedy, man,” he adds. “He’s like Lil Romeo meets Raggedy Anne / Sorry kids, I got hard with this … Yachty don’t know Notorious / Story is, he’s sort of shit.”
It doesn’t end there, with Shia also throwing shade at a fellow actor. “That bull you do is like movies with too many sequels,” he raps. “You is my equal? / Please, dude, you is just fecal / I’m Steve McQueen, you is Vin Diesel.”
LaBeouf earned praise for his recent appearance on “Sway in the Morning,” where he delivered similarly scathing bars about Drake and Yachty.
“It’s trash rap in October,” he rhymed at the time. “Who wrote what for who? It’s all so below par / Substandard / Used to be a litmus / If you didn’t write your own shit, you got dismissed.”
Later, he added: “Miss me with that Lil Boat.”
While his recent rhymes might signal a change in careers, he makes sure to note that he is “not a rapper” multiple times in the freestyle. Currently, Shia is filming Borg/McEnroe, an upcoming motion picture, in which he stars as tennis legend John McEnroe.
