Bruno Mars strikes gold on the Billboard 200 once again. The crooner’s third album 24K Magic opens at No. 2 on the chart this week with 231,000 units (194,000 traditional), marking his best sales week yet.

The project, beat out for No. 1 by Metallica’s Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, follows 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox, which also opened at No. 2 with 192,000. It would go on to reach No. 1 the next year. Prior to that, 2010’s Doo-Wops & Hooligans debuted at No. 2 with 55,000 units in its first week. Both albums went on to sell more than 2 million copies apiece.

Both Hardwired…to Self-Destruct and 24K Magic have sold more than 200,000 units this week, marking the first time two albums did that in the same week this year.

Elsewhere on the chart, A Tribe Called Quest’s We Got it From Here…Thank You 4 Your Service slides 1-5 with 59,000 units. The Trolls soundtrack dips 3-6 with 53,000, and Rae Sremmurd’s SremmLife 2 falls 4-8 with 38,000. The original Hamilton cast also holds the 9th spot this week (38,000), while Drake’s Views rounds out the top 10 (34,000).
