Red Friday comes early. Originally slated to drop tomorrow, YG’s mixtape hit the net on Thanksgiving Day.
The 8-song project, which is being sold for $100, is now available to stream. It features the previously released “One Time Coming,” plus collaborations with RJ (“Get Out Yo Feelin’s”), Mitch (“I Know”), and 21 Savage (“I Be On”).
YG was clearly not happy with the premature release, taking to Twitter to call out his label Def Jam. “WTF? Red Friday Leaked?” he asked. “On Piru I hate DEF JAM. Always fukkin my shitt up.”
This marks YG’s second release this year following Still Brazy, which featured the controversial and politically-charged “FDT (Fuck Donald Trump)” with Nipsey Hussle and the Drake and Kamaiyah-assisted “Why You Always Hatin?”
YG will be spending Red Friday in Oakland, Calif. at a meet-and-greet for fans who purchase the album for $100. Only 1,400 hard copies are available for sale.
