DeJ Loaf feels it “In the Air.”

Rhyming over Beanie Sigel’s classic “Feel It In the Air” instrumental, Lil Loaf spits about originality. “We don’t wave ride,” she rhymes. “I don’t want to hear these new ni**as, put on some Mary J. Blige / This for my ni**as on them train ride / This for my ni**as selling K-9s.”

Later, the Detroit rhymer opens up about her hopes for a family with a little wordplay. “I done seen ni**as go from a loaf to a crumb,” she rhymes. “I done seen bitches go from a boss to a bum / I survived the rain and the storm / I want to start a family, teach it all to my sons.”

Loaf has been laying low of late, but her year’s been full of work. She released All Jokes Aside back in April and in September, she returned with two new songs: “Snakes” and “Beef N Broccoli.”
