Fans can breathe a sigh of relief. A TWENTY88 sequel is “On the Way.”
Over the weekend, Big Sean confirmed that he and Jhené Aiko are planning to drop a second TWENTY88 project in 2017. “The next @twenty88 album is coming next year,” he tweeted. “We gon get our solo’s off too though! #Dons #Soulmates #88”
The duo released a self-titled eight-track project in March that included the songs “Selfish” and “On the Way.”
Moreover, the Detroit rapper’s hashtags (“#Dons #Soulmates”) indicate that the couple’s relationship is still going strong.
But that’s not the only bit of news from Sean Don. He also confirmed that he has more new material to unveil. “Trust me,” he wrote. “More heat on the way… very soon.”
Plus, it looks like he’s also getting ready to go back on the road. “Tour is coming soon,” he added. “When we announce tho u better cop them tics n come thru! I only wanna tour for the live ones tho who give no fucks!!”
Sean recently released “Bounce Back” and “No More Interviews,” believed to be off his forthcoming fourth solo album, which follows last year’s critically-acclaimed Dark Sky Paradise.
