Destiny’s Child reunites. While the trio didn’t come together for new music, they did link up for the “Mannequin Challenge” viral video sensation.
Backed by Lauryn Hill’s “Every Ghetto, Every City,” Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams froze in fun poses for the video — Michelle tossing a ball at Queen Bey while Kelly pretended to swing a long balloon.
Unfortunately for DC fans, the video wasn’t shot at a studio. It looks like the clip was taken at a playroom with toys and kid-friendly art in the background.

It was likely a festive occasion in honor of Kelly’s son Titan Jewell, who turned two on Nov. 4. Another photo posted by Kelly shows Bey’s mom Tina Lawson playing with young Titan, who is quite the car collector.
The fun was part of the “Mannequin Challenge” craze, which has taken social media by storm. Recently, A$AP Ferg had everyone at his concert join in on the freezing fun.
Back to DC, the video is a sign that all is well with the longtime collaborators, even if a new album isn’t exactly on the horizon.
Back in April, Kelly talked about a potential DC reunion. “We haven’t talked about it,” she said. “I’ll see Michelle tomorrow or the next day and the last time me and Bey were together was like two weeks ago when I stopped by rehearsals. We talk about everything else. We really, really do. We talk about playdates with the kids and vacations and new opportunities.”
Destiny’s Child’s last album Destiny Fulfilled was released Nov. 15, 2004.
